Refund and Returns Policy

1. General Policy

NG Kerk Parow-Panorama occasionally sells food tickets for events where attendees redeem tickets for meals (e.g., burgers, potjiekos). This refund policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may or may not be granted.

2. Sales & Redemption

  • Tickets are sold online via shop.parow-panorama.co.za and occasionally in person.
  • Payments for online orders are processed securely through Yoco.
  • Upon purchase, buyers receive an email confirmation of their order.
  • The church maintains a list of ticket holders, and tickets must be redeemed at the event.
  • No shipping of tickets—all orders must be picked up from the church.

3. Transferability

  • Tickets are transferable, provided that the original buyer notifies the church and provides sufficient proof of the transfer.
  • The transfer can be arranged in advance or at the pickup point if both parties are present.

4. Refund Eligibility

  • All sales are final. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations, change of mind, or inability to attend. Ticket holders are encouraged to transfer their tickets if they cannot attend.
  • If there is not enough food to fulfil an order, a refund will be issued.
    • The church does not guarantee food availability beyond issuing a refund for affected ticket holders.
    • The church accepts no liability for damages beyond the refund amount.
  • Event cancellations: If an event is cancelled, refunds will be issued only if the event was planned to be held at the church. If the event was at an external venue where the church incurred costs, refunds may not be full or available.
  • The church reserves the right to assess exceptional refund cases on a case-by-case basis.

5. Refund Request Process

  • Refund requests must be submitted via email to the Finance Team at bestellings@parow-panorama.co.za or through the church office.
  • The request must include proof of purchase and a valid reason for the refund request.
  • The Finance Team will review the request and determine eligibility.
  • Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method when applicable.
  • If refunded via Yoco, transaction fees will not be refunded.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours after the event.

6. Event-Specific Refund Policies

  • Some events may have different refund policies, which will be communicated per event.

7. Additional Terms

Any disputes regarding refunds will be handled at the discretion of the Finance Team.

The church reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time.
